Dr. Pasricha has been practicing gynecology for more than three decades, treating patients with dedication and compassion. Born in a small town of Punjab, she was the eldest of the three children. It was the sickness of her grandmother that inspired her to take the plunge in the field of women care. And the constant support of her father was what made her crack PMT and then do her MBBS with a gold medal.
Though the medical profession was always her first love, the need to impact the masses took her briefly to the civil service route too. Nonetheless, circumstances brought her back to where her heart was with more vigour. As life progressed, she was expected to step into the marital world. Here too, she took a pledge from her prospective husband to ensure that her first commitment would always be towards her profession. The love and support of her extended family, especially her husband and her in-laws helped her to complete her post-graduation in obstetrician and gynecology from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, India’s premier institute.
Her main focus is on making pregnancy a wonderful experience for the patient and enables happy parenthood. She is a highly competent and well-read gynecologist who believes in ensuring quality care tailored to patients’ needs. She has multiple national and international publications to her credit.
Other than a thriving professional life, Dr. Pasricha prides on her lifelong friendships that she made during her college life and respects the mentors that have played a very important role in her life. She also enjoys (your hobbies and interests)
On the personal front, Dr. Pasricha is a hands-on mother to her two sons and is busy managing the family-owned nursing home. She is constantly braving the challenges of giving the best of care at a secondary level facility. This has also given Dr. Pasricha an edge over the others as she strongly believes in a holistic approach to a woman and understands how her mental status and family situation may affect her physical well-being. Dr. Pasricha is known for her sincerity, excellent bed side manners and clinical acumen for diagnosing women’s problems.
